I fib you not. First, I laughed at him, then I asked him how many times he had seen my posts vs the times he had engaged with them despite being so close to me. Next, I patiently told him how it works and that there's hardly any overnight successes and if there are, they are hard to replicate. And finally I showed him frustratingly the painstaking efforts I had been putting into my profiles and the results I had got...it takes months, years even with constant optimization, experimentation to build an audience who's gonna want more of you what you put out.
