I was playing around with LinkedIn yesterday to work out exactly where you can and can't include UTM parameters in your links. It's been a challenge for a while now with a few people on here asking for help from time to time (e.g. https://www.reddit.com/r/socialmedia/comments/c65ugo/linkedin_referral_traffic_almost_disappeared_this/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/socialmedia/comments/bggu4p/linkedin_strips_utm_when_sharing_posts_on_my/ Well, it changed before my eyes! I had a look into it and it seems that links posted to LinkedIn contained the rel=noreferrer link relation, blocking the Referer HTTP header completely, before yesterday's change. That's gone now and my dashboard thankfully just gained a new channel. For the curious, I wrote a deeper dive into what was going on here: https://lickst.at/linkedin-reinstates-referral-tracking What workarounds were you all using to track LinkedIn traffic? I found it a monumental pain, ended up using specific links that I would only post on LinkedIn.
